Hugo Flavier is Assistant Professor of Public Law (European and International Law) at the University of Bordeaux since 2011. He defended a doctoral thesis in 2009 on “The Influence of the External Relations of European Union on its Constitutional Order”. He is a member of the Centre for Research and Documentation in European and International Law (CRDEI) at Bordeaux University that obtained from the European Commission the label "Centre of Excellence Jean Monnet” since August 2014. He teaches European Law, International Law and some foreign laws such as Russian Constitutional Law. His research interests focus on two main topics: external relations of the European Union and Comparative Law (especially in the post-soviet area).
