About Alexandros Kyriakidis

Dr. Alexandros Kyriakidis is a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the Hellenic Foundation for European and Foreign Policy (ELIAMEP), and a Postdoctoral Researcher and Head of Operations & Research at the Center for Research on Democracy and Law (CEDLAW) of the University of Macedonia (Greece). He was awarded his PhD in International and European Studies by the same University, an MPhil in Politics from the University of Sheffield (UK), an MSc in Global Politics from the University of Southampton (UK), and a BA in Political Science from the College of Wooster (Ohio, USA). He is also the Principle Investigator of the research project GovRM-COVID19, the first independent observatory in Greece for COVID-19 government restrictive measures worldwide.
