Alexandru Circiumaru is the European Public Policy Lead at the Ada Lovelace Institute. He holds an MPhil in law from the University of Oxford, where he has done research into the impact of algorithmic discrimination on EU law. He also holds an LLM from the College of Europe (Bruges) and has been called to the Bar of England and Wales, as a scholar of the Inner Temple, in 2019. Before joining the Ada Lovelace Institute, he worked for several civil society organisations with a human rights and digital rights focus, as well as for the European Government Affairs team of a Big Tech company.
