Eleni is an Associate Professor in Public Law and Human Rights at Durham Law School, University of Durham. Her research focuses on the horizontal direct effect and indirect effect in EU law and comparatively. She has published extensively on this topic and her monograph, entitled 'The Horizontal Effect of Fundamental Rights in the European Union: A Constitutional Analysis (OUP 2019)', was the Joint Winner of the UACES Best Book Prize 2020.
