Hannah Ruschemeier holds the Juniorprofessorship (tenure W3) for Public Law, Data Protection Law at the University of Hagen. She is a board member of the Robotics & AI Law Society and an associated researcher at the Center of Advanced Internet Studies (CAIS NRW). She wrote her PhD thesis about the additional interferences within fundamental rights. Her research combines traditional questions of public law and the digital transformation. Currently, her particular interests are collective dimensions of privacy and data protection, new forms of interferences within fundamental rights, challenges to the rule of law through digitalisation and regulatory questions of evolving technologies.
