Thomas Horsley is Senior Lecturer and Director of Postgraduate Research at Liverpool Law School. His principal areas of research expertise include: the Court of Justice of the European Union; EU internal market law and Union citizenship. Thomas has published widely in leading international journals on EU law and European integration. He has also recently completed a new monograph study on the role of the Court of Justice as an institutional actor in European integration (forthcoming with Cambridge University Press, April 2018). His current research analyses the impact of the UK’s exit from the European Union on UK courts. He completed his PhD thesis at the University of Edinburgh (2009-2011), funded by the UK Arts & Humanities Research Council.
