Daniela Jaros studied law at the University of Vienna, at the Université Paris Nanterre and at the European Inter-University-Center in Venice. Since 2009, she has been a PhD researcher at the European University Institute in Florence where she is writing a thesis on the the law of sovereign debt. In the course of her PhD, she also spent six months as visiting research scholar at the University of Michigan Law School. Her major interests are international economic law, EU law with a special focus on the law of the European Economic and Monetary Union, and legal theory.
