Hannes Lenk is a doctoral candidate at the University of Gothenburg and holds an LL.M. from Leiden University (Netherlands, 2012). Before commencing his doctoral studies, Hannes worked for a short while at the Directorate General for Trade of the European Commission. His research focuses in particular on constitutional issues of EU external relations law and investigates the intersections of EU law, public international law and international investment law. He has previously published, amongst others, in European Business Law Review and Transnational Dispute Management on conflicts of investor-State dispute settlement with the EU principle of autonomy and the attribution of international responsibility in investment disputes between EU and its Member States.
