Mathias Becuywe is a research fellow with the Grenoble-Alpes Data Institute and part of the team of the AI Regulation Chair (MIAI) at Grenoble Alpes University. He holds a law degree from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and a Master International Legal Careers from the Grenoble-Alpes University. Specialized in international public law and European law, he is particularly interested in State’s uses of technologies in the fields of surveillance, investigation and security. His research interests currently focus on the regulation of Artificial Intelligence and more particularly on Facial Recognition.
