Megi Medzmariashvili is a doctoral candidate at Lund University’s Faculty of Law. Her research concerns the legal aspects of European Standardisation and explores the interplay between law and technical standards in the EU’s Internal Market. More precisely, how EU constitutional, internal market and competition law provisions regard, treat and control European Standardisation used for legislative purposes. As well as research, Megi also teaches at Lund University on a range of subjects relating to EU Law. Megi holds Master’s degrees in European Business Law (Lund University) and Public International Law and Human Rights (Riga Graduate School of Law). She has LLB Law from Tbilisi State University (Georgia). Megi has also worked at the Supreme and Constitutional Courts of Georgia.
