Cristina Saenz Perez is a PhD candidate at the University of Leicester and a Graduate Research Assistant at the Center for European Law and Internationalisation (CELI) of the University of Leicester. She holds an LLM in International criminal law from the University of Turin (Italy), and an LLB and a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the University of Valencia (Spain). Her PhD research focuses on the fundamental rights’ and constitutional implications of applying mutual recognition to police and judicial cooperation in criminal matters.
