Rebecca Zahn is Lecturer in Law at Strathclyde Law School. Her research interests lie in Labour Law (national, comparative and European) and the social side of European integration. She completed her PhD thesis at the University of Edinburgh (2007-2010) and subsequently held a Max Weber Postdoctoral Fellowship at the European University Institute (2010-2011) and a lectureship at the University of Stirling (2011-2015). Rebecca has recently completed a research project which combined empirical work with an innovative comparative method to explore the responses of trade unions in five EU Member States to the challenges posed by the recent EU enlargements in 2004 and 2007. The outcomes of the project will be published as a monograph entitled New Labour Laws in Old Member States by Cambridge University Press in 2016.
